Launch of Extend version 4.0

During 2011 Manufacturing are satisfied to have launched the new version 4.0 of the Extend Platform. The official launch was made before the summer vacation and included several improved functions.

As we are now getting close to wrapping up the year, Manufacturing have successfully completed their 20th installation of mobile solutions on the new Extend Platform.

Extend is Consafe Logistics´ mobile front-end system designed to extend storage and production processes in a company’s ERP system in a simple and effective manner. Some of the benefits of Extend version 4.0:

  1. The number of pre-defined processes supported by Extend have increased.
  2. The solution is now supporting the complete flow, including both warehouse and production processes.
  3. Both user interfaces in Extend as well as the integration to the ERP-system are fully configurable.
  4. Integration towards ERP-systems have been further enhanced and now include Web Services for easy integration against Microsoft Dynamics AX and SAP.
  5. The new version of Extend is developed on a modern .Net platform.
  6. As previous versions, new Extend is supporting all barcode standards, including GS1, and RF-ID handling.
